Riviera and Haut-Lac harbours: facilities, fuel and stopovers

Updated 17.10.2026

11 marinas on the Swiss Haut-Lac, from Vevey and La Tour-de-Peilz to Montreux, Villeneuve, Le Bouveret and Saint-Gingolph: what each one offers according to official sources, where to refuel (2 confirmed quayside pumps), where to pump out, launch and eat at the harbour.

Before you come: visitor berths and rules

On the Vaud and Valais side, each municipality sets the rules for its harbour: where the visitor berths are, how many nights, what fee. The principle is the same everywhere: moor at a marked visitor berth and report straight away to the harbour master's office or harbour warden. The numbers are in the entries below.

At the end of the lake, the mouth of the Rhône carries silt: the depth near the delta changes from one flood to the next, and the app's depth map, which comes from a survey, doesn't keep up.

The 11 harbours, from west to east

Only facilities confirmed by an official page (municipality, harbour master's office, canton, operator) are listed. A facility missing from the entry may still exist: ask the harbour.

Marked anchorages

Anchorages marked and adjusted to the surveyed depth (swissBATHY3D, between 3 and 15 m). No source confirms any shelter from the wind, and the point says nothing about the holding or aquatic plant beds: judge on site.

  • Pichette on the map — depth about 11,2 m
  • Baie du Bouveret on the map — depth about 4,5 m
OROEM reserve “Les Grangettes”, sector III here: no navigation restrictions; the neighbouring sector I is closed to navigation all year round.
  • Baie de Clarens on the map — depth about 6,6 m
OROEM reserve “Les Grangettes”, sector III: no navigation restrictions.

On the Navleman map

All these places are in the app, with their position: Harbours and safety menu (harbours, slipways), Services menu (fuel, pump-out, cranes) and Discover menu (restaurants, anchorages). Tap a harbour, then “Set course”: the app works out the route.
