Fuel and pump-out on Lake Geneva: the quayside pumps

Updated 17.10.2026

14 quayside fuel pumps and 19 pump-out stations confirmed by an official source, from Geneva to Le Bouveret and on the French shore.

What you need to know

On Lake Geneva, quayside pumps are rare: OpenStreetMap, the collaborative map, mixes up road filling stations and harbour pumps. Each of the pumps below was confirmed by an official page (municipality, harbour master's office, operator) in October 2026.

  • A pump may be seasonal (Corsier-Port: mid-May to the end of September), out of order or card-only: call the harbour master's office before relying on it.
  • The Lake Geneva Navigation Regulations prohibit letting anything that could pollute the lake drain into it (art. 10), and require boats fitted with toilets or living quarters to have holding tanks that are emptied ashore (art. 90). Harbour regulations also prohibit emptying tanks in the harbour (example: Lutry, art. 47, except clean water).
