Geneva harbours: visitor berths, fuel, slipways and stopovers

Updated 17.10.2026

20 marinas on both shores of Geneva's Petit-Lac, from Versoix and Céligny to Hermance, including the Rade of Geneva: what each offers according to official sources, where to refuel (4 confirmed fuel pumps), pump out, launch and eat at the harbour.

Before you come: visitor berths and rules

In Geneva's harbours, visitor berths are free. They are usually marked by an orange buoy and a sign on the jetty, with a QR code linking to the arrival form. You can stay three consecutive nights at most, only once a month per harbour. They cannot be booked: you moor, then report your arrival straight away using the online form (name, registration, harbour, number of nights). No confirmation is sent: keep a screenshot.

The cantonal harbour master's office can be reached on +41 22 388 55 50 (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 9:00–12:30). Geneva law prohibits stationing a boat in or near harbours other than in designated places, mooring at the shipping companies' landing stages, and anchoring in the harbours and in the Rade, downstream of the Pâquis and Jet d'eau jetties.

The 20 harbours, from west to east

Only facilities confirmed by an official page (municipality, harbour master's office, canton, operator) are listed. A facility missing from the entry may still exist: ask the harbour.
